Kathmandu
– Dhulikhel - Trishuli river rafting
In
this seven-day tour, you will experience the highlights of the
ancient valley of Kathmandu visiting its three sister cities,
each unique for their palace square, ornate temples of
exquisitely carved wood and metal, their bustling colorful
bazaars and then combine it with thrills of white water
rafting on the Trishuli river. Rising from the glaciers of the
world’s highest mountains, the rivers of Nepal plunge through
gorges as they traverse through rugged mountains, coursing
through at a slower pace as they reach the foothills,
meandering slowly through the southern Terai before they merge
into the holy Ganges. A two-day easy rafting trip on the
Trishuli river with hair-raising rapids having interesting
names such as ‘ladies delight’, ‘Upset’, ‘Surprise’, ‘Pin
Ball’ etc; is but just another facet to a bit of adventure and
fun.
